A Special "Frontiers in Physiology" collection dedicated to the COVID 19 pandemic:
The worldwide community of physiologists is very pleased to invite you to participate in a special "Frontiers in Physiology" collection dedicated to the COVID 19 pandemic.
Detailed information on the topic and aim of the collection can be accessed at the following URL: https://www.frontiersin.org/research-topics/14265/the-tribute-of-physiology-for-the-understanding-of-covid-19-disease
The collection aims at providing an integrative and multisystemic/multidisciplinary approach to the SARS-2 disease in the various physiological systems (cardiovascular, neurophysiology, renal,…) including evolutionary aspects.
Opinion and Review papers and original articles (excluding clinical trials and cases reports) are welcomed.
Abstracts can be submitted at the following URL: https://www.frontiersin.org/research-topics/14265/the-tribute-of-physiology-for-the-understanding-of-covid-19-disease. The deadline for abstracts is 31st July 2020.
Importantly: Due to the exceptional nature of the COVID-19 situation, COVID-19 related research articles submitted to this Research Topic will have open access charges fully waived. When submitting your manuscript, the code 'Covid' has to be included as a waiver code in the submission process, and the paper should ideally also include 'Covid' as a keyword.
All the guest editors encourage the community of physiologists to submit a large number of papers!
