ACTA PHYSIOLOGICA RISING STAR AWARD
The Acta Physiologica Rising Star Award is granted to a young physiologist who has substantially contributed to the advancement of their field through ground-breaking research. The successful candidate will have developed a progressive, world-class research profile as an independent investigator, demonstrated by an excellent record of scientific dissemination. Presented at the Annual Meeting of the Federation of European Physiological Societies (FEPS), the prize includes an endowment of €1500. The awardee will present a summary lecture of their work at the Annual Meeting, and author an accompanying review article in Acta Physiologica. For the 2017 Award, nominations are open to candidates under the age of 40 as of December 31st 2017, with allowances made for documented career breaks, who are currently employed at a European academic institution. The deadline for nominations is April 30th 2017. A full CV including publication list should accompany this nomination form.
