ACTA PHYSIOLOGICA RISING STAR AWARD 2019
⇒ The Acta Physiologica Rising Star Award is granted to a young physiologist who has substantially contributed to the advancement of their field through ground-breaking research.
⇒ The successful candidate will have developed a progressive, world-class research profile as an independent investigator, demonstrated by an excellent record of scientific dissemination.
⇒ Presented at the Annual Meeting of the Federation of European Physiological Societies (FEPS), the prize includes an endowment of €1500.
⇒ The awardee will present a summary lecture of their work at the Annual Meeting, and author an accompanying review article in Acta Physiologica.
⇒ For the 2019 Award, nominations are open to candidates under the age of 40 as of December 31st 2019, with allowances made for documented career breaks, who have been employed at a European academic institution in the past 2 years.
⇒ The deadline for nominations is 15th May 2019.
